This dashboard's look takes cues from a couple of places, in spirit only — no art, code, or text was copied from either:

Early-2000s personal websites & webrings — the boxed sections and scrolling status ticker are a nod to that era of hand-built personal pages.

Missed Messages by Angela He — the warm color palette and the "desktop app window" presentation (title bars, app-style panels) are inspired by that game's UI.
